Warehouse Operative - Immediate Start - £13.40–£18.76ph – Islip (NN14 3JW)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Kettering, Islip NN14. This is an excellent opportunity offering long term, stable work within a major high-street retail distribution centre, with immediate starts available and a pathway to permanent employment for the right candidates.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Picker Packer, Order Picker or Warehouse Assistant.

Quick Overview

• £13.40 – £18.76 per hour
• Rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)
• Immediate starts available
•     Long-term, ongoing work

Shifts

• Working 5 days out of 7 on a rotating shift pattern 
• 6.00am - 2.00pm & 2.00pm - 10.00pm (rotating weekly)
• Weekend work required on a rota basis

Rates of pay

• 06:00 – 14:00: £13.40 per hour basic / £17.42 per hour overtime
• 14:00 – 22:00: £14.74 per hour basic / £18.76 per hour overtime

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will be, but not limited to:

• LLOP Picking 
• Operating LLOP vehicles safely and efficiently (training provided)
• Preparing orders for dispatch in line with KPIs
• Loading and unloading stock as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting the wider warehouse team when required

Essential Skills

• Ability to work full-time rotating shifts
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good level of English and basic numeracy
• Reliable and committed to ongoing work
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Flexible and able to meet operational demands

Important Information 

• Own reliable transport is essential due to site location and shift times
• Candidates must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test and basic assessments 
• These are long-term, full-time roles and are not suitable for students in full time education
