Internal Sales Executive / Sales Advisor – Cumbernauld

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive / Sales Advisor to join our well-established client based in Cumbernauld on a permanent basis.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as an Internal Sales Executive, Sales Advisor, Sales Executive, Account Manager, Business Development Executive, Customer Sales Advisor, Branch Sales Assistant, or within a similar customer-focused sales environment.

Salary:

• £27,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Additional Hours:

• Occasional Saturday working (approximately 1 in every 6 weeks), paid at time and a half

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an Internal Sales Executive / Sales Advisor your duties will include:

• Handling inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and confidently
• Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers
• Identifying sales opportunities and upselling products/services where appropriate
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Providing quotations and product/service information
• Managing customer enquiries and following up accordingly
• Supporting the wider branch team with day-to-day commercial activities
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards at all times
• Working towards branch sales targets and contributing to overall business growth

Essential Skills:

The ideal Internal Sales Executive / Sales Advisor will have:

• Previous experience within a sales, customer service, or account management environment
• Confidence speaking on the telephone and building rapport with customers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and commercially focused attitude
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A confident and professional approach
• The drive to progress and develop within a long-term role

Desirable Experience:

• Experience within electrical wholesale, trade sales, distribution, or similar sectors
• Experience working within a branch-based sales environment
• Previous experience generating sales leads or managing customer accounts

Training:

• Full support and onboarding will be provided for the successful candidate.
