Supply SEN Teaching Assistants – Barnsley

We are currently recruiting experienced Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated individuals looking for flexible work while making a real difference in the lives of young people.

The Role

As a Supply SEN TA, you will:

• Provide classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with a range of SEN needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, complex needs)
• Assist teachers with delivering tailored learning activities
• Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
• Adapt to different school settings with confidence and professionalism
• Work on a flexible, day-to-day basis across multiple schools

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Have previous experience working with SEN, either in an education setting or as a support worker
• Be adaptable, reliable, and confident working in different environments
• Have strong behaviour management skills
• Be comfortable travelling across the Barnsley area to cover supply bookings
• Be available for immediate start
