Customer Service Executive

We are working with a well-established organisation seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring orders and enquiries are handled accurately and within agreed timeframes, and acting as a professional first point of contact for customers while supporting the wider commercial team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer forecasts and orders within agreed timeframes using internal systems

• Maintain system data to ensure accuracy, regularly reviewing customer and order information

• Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed of any risks to agreed delivery dates

• Manage customer enquiries, identifying and escalating potential commercial opportunities where appropriate

• Handle returns in collaboration with relevant internal teams

• Generate and analyse reports from internal systems to provide useful insights for colleagues

• Support colleagues with quotation responses

• Maintain sufficient product and service knowledge to deliver effective customer support


Key Requirements:

• Experience managing orders using internal systems (e.g. ERP or similar platforms)

• Previous customer service experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience within a technical or product based environment is advantageous but not essential


Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 14:00 on Friday.
