Primary School Teaching Assistant

Join a friendly and supportive mainstream primary school as a Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
• Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
• Help maintain a calm and productive classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development.
• Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Relevant qualification in childcare or education.
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Experience working with children (school, nursery, or similar setting).
