An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Paralegal to join a successful and growing family law team in Devizes. This role offers hands-on experience across a broad range of family matters, working closely alongside experienced solicitors and fee earners.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors with a varied caseload of family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Domestic abuse cases
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court bundles
- Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
- Attending client meetings and taking detailed instructions
- Managing files and ensuring compliance with SRA and internal procedures
- Supporting fee earners to progress matters efficiently and maintain high client care standards
About You
- Previous experience working within family law as a paralegal or legal assistant is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of family law procedures and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to clients
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong IT skills, including experience with case management systems
- A law degree (LLB) or LPC/SQE is preferred but not essential
