As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll help provide a safe & healthy environment for our patients & service users.


You’ll be working Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm (40) hours a week in a hospital that offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure services across four wards which provide a defined treatment pathway from admission through to intervention and discharge including rapid assessment and treatment.


Your day to day:


• Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service
• Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting & general building, grounds work
• Maintain plant and services in working order
• Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment &potential hazards
• Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance checks as per schedule, document findings and report required actions

You are:
• Skilled at DIY & general maintenance

Experienced in all types of painting and decorating in both indoor and outdoor environments

• Hold a full valid driving licence
• Able to communicate at all levels & record detailed, accurate maintenance information
• Preferably Level 2 Diploma qualified in Maintenance/Painting & Decorating
• Friendly, conscientious & an excellent team member with a positive attitude
