Description
Reporting into the Executive team, the Interim HR Consultant (Change Management) will take responsibility for the people and organisational elements of a large-scale transformation programme. Key responsibilities will include leading the design, development and implementation of agreed organisational and senior leadership structures, as well as managing leadership transitions including new appointments, role redesign and exits.
The role will play a key part in shaping organisational design and senior leadership restructuring decisions, providing expert advice, insight and practical options to the CEO and COO to support effective, collective decision-making. The successful consultant will translate strategic intent into clear, structured and deliverable change plans.
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of workforce change activity, including consultation, redundancy, redeployment and appeals processes arising from Executive and Board decisions. Acting as the senior HR lead for the programme, you will also manage engagement with Trade Unions and staff representatives throughout the transformation.
In addition, the role will involve advising senior leaders on people-related risks associated with organisational change, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies, and ensuring robust governance, high-quality documentation and clear, defensible audit trails across all workforce change activity.
