An exciting opportunity for an experienced Estate Manager to take ownership of a stunning private countryside estate in Surrey, close to Epsom.


This is a newly created position, a genuine chance for the right person to set the standard, shape how the estate operates, and make their mark on a truly exceptional property.


The estate is a beautiful Grade II listed residence set within over 100 acres of grounds, maintained to the highest standards for a UHNW international family who visit regularly throughout the year. The property is currently undergoing a full restoration and the incoming Estate Manager will play a key role in its completion.


Reporting to the family's Personal Assistant, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the estate and lead an established team including a housekeeper, stable manager, groundskeepers, and full-time security.


Duties include:

• Overall management and smooth day-to-day running of the estate

• Leading, coordinating, and supporting the wider estate team

• Ensuring the property is maintained and presented to an impeccable standard at all times, in keeping with its heritage status

• Preparing the estate ahead of family visits and being available and present during stays

• Overseeing pool, spa, and recreational facility maintenance

• Managing contractors, suppliers, and service providers

• Principal and Family support

• Financial budgeting and planning

• Being on hand locally for any out-of-hours emergencies


Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a private estate or high-end property for UHNW principals

• Confident leading a multi-disciplinary team with calm authority

• Exceptional attention to detail, an instinctive, uncompromising standard of presentation

• Proactive and self-motivated; someone who gets on with things without needing to be directed

• Warm, discreet, and professional in all interactions with the family

• Based locally in Surrey or looking to relocate to the area


Package & Benefits:

Salary: Up to £85,000 gross per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm (flexibility required during family visits)

25 days annual leave
