A large construction company in Chesterfield are looking for an experienced Management Accountant

We are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to help establish and manage a separate profit and loss account within our existing business structure due to a recent acquisition.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape processes, reporting, and financial controls from the outset within a growing operation.

The position would suit someone who is studying, qualified, or QBE Accountant. More importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude, commercial mindset, and capability to operate in a hands-on environment.

• Set up and manage a standalone P&L within the existing business structure
• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Manage and reconcile intercompany charges and transactions
• Support ongoing financial analysis and performance reporting
• Assist with process improvements and financial controls as the project develops
• Analyse large volumes of operational and financial data
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Help develop reporting tools and improve data accuracy across systems
