An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to join a growing UK-based business operating within the construction, facilities management, and fire safety sectors.

This is a varied B2B role combining both business development and account management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for building long-term client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service to an established customer base.

The role would suit someone who enjoys developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and working in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
  • Source and prospect new business opportunities through a variety of channels
  • Identify and bid for tender opportunities
  • Support the onboarding of new customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create bespoke product solutions and customer-specific materials where required
Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Conduct regular customer reviews with key accounts, both online and in person
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and ongoing support
General Duties
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain consistent outbound activity via phone and email
  • Manage customer-related project work where required
  • Provide solutions and support for customer issues and queries
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are delivered accurately and efficiently
Candidate RequirementsExperience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales, account management, or customer-facing role
Qualifications
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) required
  • A-Levels, degree, or equivalent qualifications desirable
