We’re recruiting for a Technical Administrator to join a busy manufacturing operation and provide essential support across Quality, Production and General Office functions.

The RoleThis is a technically oriented administrative role providing structured operational, quality, and office support across multiple business functions. The position focuses on documentation control, process coordination, compliance administration, and cross-functional liaison within a manufacturing environment.
Quality & Compliance Administration• Providing administrative support within an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment
• Maintaining and controlling quality documentation, records, and procedures
• Supporting internal and external audits through document preparation and evidence collation
• Assisting with quality processes, corrective actions, and basic quality control administration
• Acting as a central point of contact between quality functions and production teams on quality related actions and updates
Production & Manufacturing Administration• Delivering structured administrative support to production and factory operations
• Coordinating information flow between supervisors, production staff, and support functions
• Managing operational queries, schedules, and documentation to support daily output
• Tracking tasks, prioritising workloads, and supporting smooth production workflows in a fast paced environment
General Office & Systems Administration• Providing comprehensive day to day administrative support to the wider business
• Managing correspondence, document control, data entry, filing, and digital record keeping
• Maintaining accurate and up to date administrative systems and logs
• Offering cover and administrative support to colleagues as required
Finance Administration Support• Providing light administrative assistance to the finance function
• Supporting with routine finance related documentation and data processing
• Acting as holiday cover support for the Finance Manager (non accounting, administrative duties only)
The PersonAbout YouYou must have:
- Experience within Quality / ISO 9001:2015 administration
- Background in engineering, manufacturing or a similar industrial sector
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Confidence working in a factory environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities and wear multiple hats
- Excellent communication skills
It’s a bonus if you have: - Preventative maintenance administration experience
- Previous exposure to engineering or technical environments
- A collaborative style suited to a small, close-knit team
Working Hours & Benefits - Full-time, fully on-site (no hybrid working)
- Flexible hours between approx. 8am–5pm
