The Role

You’ll support learners across a range of programmes, helping them develop confidence and achieve success in Maths qualifications.

• Deliver engaging GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths lessons

• Support learners with varying abilities and educational needs

• Plan and deliver inclusive and effective teaching sessions

• Monitor learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

• Prepare learners for exams and assessments

• Create a positive and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds:

Essential:

• Experience teaching Maths

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Ability to engage and support post-16 learners

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A flexible and reliable approach

Desirable:

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET)

• Experience within Further Education or secondary education

• Experience delivering GCSE or Functional Skills Maths

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
