As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Salary: £13,250 pro rata (FTE £24,862.50 per annum)
Contract/duration: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: 1000 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

What it's like to work hereReporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a flexible team working at Trelissick Garden.
What you'll be doingDay to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.
On a day to day basis you will be meeting & greeting visitors within the the Reception areas and helping to manage their expectation of having a fantastic time whilst visiting Trelissick and promoting the benefits of being a member of the National Trust. Greeting visitors on arrival at our car parks, identifying car parking spaces, signposting visitors to where they may wish to go on site, taking car parking payments and again promoting the benefits of being a member of the National Trust.
Most importantly, you’ll be talking to visitors, answering their questions and making sure they can find everything they need to enjoy their day.
