Finance Assistant

• Salary: £25,500 - £28,500 per annum

Reed Accountancy are currently working with a renowned and close client of ours who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. Joining an established team, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining their day-to-day financial operations. Offering study support and wider finance exposure, this role would suit an up-and-comer who is looking to progress in their finance career.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Supporting day-to-day financial operations
• Maintaining accounts payable
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Maintaining credit control function
• Chasing outstanding debt
• Handling and allocating cash
• Processing journals and assisting in month-end activities
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Resolving stakeholder queries
• Perform ad hoc duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
