ECT Primary Teacher - Cambridge - Start Date ASAP

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated ECT Primary Teacher to join a warm, supportive primary school in Cambridge, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career in a nurturing environment with strong mentorship, structured induction support, and ongoing professional development.

The school is looking for a passionate practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to inspire young learners.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Cambridge

• Position - ECT Primary Teacher

• Type of work - Class teaching

• Start date - ASAP

• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

• Full time/part-time - Full time

• Minimum rate of pay - From £125 per day

• Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification

• Recent experience in a UK primary school (placements accepted for ECTs)

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child-related references
