ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR

Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our busy Accounts team. This is a great entry level position for applicants looking to expand their knowledge and experience in an accounts environment while developing a career with one of the worlds most admired brands in the automotive industry.

YOUR ROLE.

As the Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling accounts (invoices, receipts & expenses), setup and checking of bank payments, maintaining records in your assigned areas and will support the Accounts team as needed.

The main duties of the role include.

  • Preparing payments and ensuring paperwork is correct

  • Car Auction administration, including invoice posting and allocation

  • Road Fund Licence data input

  • Assisting with the purchase ledger scans and to process invoices – specifically manufacture account and allocation report

  • Maintain and input Motability costs onto the system

  • Control of company accident claims

  • Assist with month end administration

  • Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets

  • Identify and address admin discrepancies

  • Distribution of the post

  • Managing & control of supplies for finance team, stationery, & general office tasks as required

YOUR PROFILE.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy

  • Intermediate IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Previous Administration experience, is desirable

  • Minimum of 4 GSCEs grade C and above in English, Maths and ICT (or another subject if the candidate did not take ICT) /

SALARY AND HOURS.

· Basic Salary of £23,223.2 per annum

  • Working hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35hrs per week)
