Management Accountant, Harrogate, £40-45K

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to support the finance function by delivering accurate management information and commercial insight to key stakeholders.

This role will work closely with senior finance and operational teams, providing analysis, reporting and support to aid budgeting, forecasting and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Produce detailed financial reports for internal stakeholders
• Analyse financial performance, trends and variances
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
• Work with operational teams to understand performance drivers
• Assist with year-end accounts and audit processes
• Maintain and improve financial controls and reporting processes
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost control and profitability
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience within a management accounting or finance role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data
• Good understanding of financial reporting, controls and compliance
• Advanced Excel skills
• Part Qualified or QBE
