Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Hythe. This role involves delivering palletised goods via a Palletline network, ensuring timely and professional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised freight
• Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and within scheduled timeframes
• Safely load and unload goods using tail lift and pump truck where required
• Complete all relevant paperwork and PODs accurately
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Provide a high level of customer service at all delivery points
• Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience preferred
• Good geographical knowledge
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

Working Hours

• Start time: 08:00 AM
• Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required)
