A well-established manufacturing business based in Warrington is seeking an experienced HR Officer / Coordinator to join their busy and supportive HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive HR professional looking for a varied generalist role within a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As HR Officer / Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day HR support across the business, assisting with all aspects of the employee lifecycle and ensuring the smooth running of HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting recruitment activities including advertising roles, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new starters.
* Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems.
* Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees on policies and procedures.
* Assisting with employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
* Coordinating training activities and maintaining training records.
* Supporting payroll administration processes where required.
* Assisting with HR reporting and administration.
* Ensuring HR policies and procedures remain compliant and up to date.
* Supporting wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You:
* Previous experience within a HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or HR Officer position.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Good understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks within a busy environment.
* CIPD qualified or working towards would be advantageous.
