EYFS Teaching Assistant (Full Time)

A friendly and nurturing primary school in the BB1 area of Blackburn is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after the May half term, continuing through to the end of the summer term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive Early Years setting where children are encouraged to explore, develop and thrive in a stimulating learning environment.
The Role:Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
Work with small groups and individual pupils
Assist with phonics, early maths and communication & language development
Support continuous provision and child-led learning
Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Observe and contribute to assessments of pupil progress
Have experience working within an EYFS setting
Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Framework
Be nurturing, patient and enthusiastic
Work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrate strong communication skills
A welcoming and supportive staff team
A well-resourced Early Years environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
