You will be organised, proactive, and love bringing structure to a fast-moving, creative environment.

Their team is growing, and they are bringing their accounts function in-house for the first time - which means this is your chance to own the role, shape the process, and make it your own.

You'll work alongside a small team of six in a friendly, collaborative, and upbeat office right in the heart of Marlow.

Key responsibilities:

You'll be the go-to finance whizz - keeping everything running smoothly and accurately in QuickBooks while supporting the team behind the scenes.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing the accounts inbox and keeping things organised
  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments (and reconciling like a pro)
  • Generating client and commission invoices for the events team
  • Tracking payments and reviewing aged debtors with the Directors
  • Preparing Profit & Loss reports for internal review
  • Creating monthly salary journals and prompting staff & HMRC payments
  • Matching remittance slips with invoices
  • Cross-checking VAT returns before submission to the accountant
  • Producing ad-hoc reports when needed
  • Reconciling event budgets post-event with Event Managers

Key requirements:

  • You're confident, detail-focused, and love the satisfaction of well-balanced books.
  • You enjoy working independently, but also thrive as part of a small, creative team.

You'll bring:

  • 2-3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration
  • Solid knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication skills (you'll chat with the events team and suppliers)
  • Strong attention to detail - especially important in a part-time role
  • A flexible, can-do attitude (no two days are quite the same there!!)

Working Hours & Perks

  • 3 days per week - Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Flexible hours (typically 10am-3pm)
  • 25 days annual leave (pro rata)
  • A supportive, creative environment

Please note that we will only contact those candidates that we assess as suitable for the positions we have currently available based on their experience, training, and skills. If we do not have anything suitable, we will not keep your CV for more than 30 days.
