A high growth Private Equity backed business is looking for a recently qualified Management Accountant to join their team in a newly created role.
Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the monthly finance close process, ensuring reporting deadline are achieved in line with Group timetable.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring strong financial control and integrity of financial data.
Deliver detailed cost analysis and cost review reporting across multiple site / brand environment.
Partner with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful insight and support on department cost performance and outcome (examples being fleet and premises).
Partner with operational leaders across sales, lettings, property management, and support functions to provide financial insight.
Acquisition – support acquisition integration activity including finance process alignment, balance sheet and cost base inheritance.
Assist with procurement and supplier cost review work across multiple spend categories.
Support Budgeting, forecasting, and adhoc financial analysis as required.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
Profile
Strong experience supporting month end management account processes.
Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in changing or acquisitive business environment.
Hands on pragmatic approach to work in such environment.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Skills & Experience
Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet controls.
Advanced Excel and strong financial systems capability.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner non-finance stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
