Commercial Finance Manager

A dynamic FMCG business is looking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Manager to partner closely with operational and commercial teams across the organisation.

This is a high-visibility role where you’ll play a key part in driving profitability, influencing commercial decisions, and helping shape pricing and growth strategy within a fast-moving environment.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you’ll act as a true business partner across commercial and procurement functions, supporting strategic decision making through robust analysis, insight, and financial challenge.

Key responsibilities include:

• Business partnering with commercial, procurement, and operational stakeholders
• Customer profitability analysis and margin improvement initiatives
• Supporting tenders, bids, and pricing strategy
• Building financial models and commercial scenario analysis
• Delivering insightful reporting and forecasting
• Influencing decision making through data and commercial insight
• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance
• Supporting continuous improvement across reporting and finance processes

About You

The successful candidate will be:

• Fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• A strong commercial finance business partner
• Experienced within FMCG, manufacturing, retail, distribution, or fast-paced environments
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
• Strong analytically with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Commercially curious with a proactive mindset
• Someone who enjoys improving processes and driving performance
