TPF Recruitment is supporting a top 10 firm of chartered accountants in Eastleigh in their search for an Audit Senior.

The Role 

As Audit Senior, you will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and partners while supporting and developing junior members of the team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading audits from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio
  
• Carrying out audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely
  
• Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements from client records
  
• Identifying key audit risks and ensuring assignments are completed to a high technical standard
  
• Completing audit files and preparing work for manager and partner review
  
• Supervising, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
  
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout assignments
  
• Supporting wider team objectives and contributing to the continued growth of the office
  

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or equivalent
  
• At least 2 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
  
• Strong working knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks (UK GAAP/IFRS)
  
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
  
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff would be advantageous
  
• Organised, proactive and keen to continue developing professionally
