A high-growth, specialist business supporting major UK construction and infrastructure projects is looking to appoint a Financial Controller (or step-up candidate) to strengthen its finance function.

Operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, this is a hands-on role with real ownership across reporting, controls, and systems improvement.

The Role

Working closely with the CFO, you’ll take the lead on:

• Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Delivering clear, actionable insight to senior leadership
• Overseeing AR/AP in a high-transaction environment
• Strengthening financial controls and revenue processes
• Driving improvements across systems, reporting, and data accuracy
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow

What We’re Looking For

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA (part or fully qualified)
• Strong management accounts and financial control experience
• Background in logistics, construction, manufacturing, or similar
• A systems and process mindset – someone who improves, not maintains
