Your Responsibilities as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil within a primary classroom
• Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development
• Adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider staff
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable, especially 1:1)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEND is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and resilience
• A genuine commitment to supporting children's development and wellbeing
