Salary:

M1 to M6 depending on skills and experience (£32,916 to £45,352 per annum for September starters)

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, creative and committed SEN Teacher to deliver personalised, high-quality education to children and young people with special educational needs.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through multi-sensory, holistic teaching that helps learners re-engage with education, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and review personalised learning programmes, including lesson plans and schemes of work
• Use creative and adaptive teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Deliver engaging lessons to small groups of learners aged 7-19
• Support learners' academic, social and emotional development
• Promote inclusion, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times
• Work collaboratively to design innovative curriculum approaches
• Contribute to assessments, progress tracking and reporting (including EHCP documentation)
• Maintain accurate records and support transition planning
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice

Person SpecificationEssential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Relevant Level 6 qualification
• Strong commitment to inclusive, learner-centred practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with learners, families and colleagues

Desirable:

• Experience working within SEN settings
• Knowledge of multi-sensory and holistic teaching approaches
