This is a fantastic role for an ambitious finance professional looking to take ownership, build commercial exposure and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Working closely with the Finance Director and Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in driving accurate financial reporting and supporting commercial decision-making within a fast-paced, growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Produce monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis

• Prepare journals including accruals, prepayments and deferred income

• Manage the Fixed Asset Register

• Support month-end, year-end and audit processes

• Prepare VAT returns

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting

• Deliver cost analysis and commercial insight to support business performance

• Improve financial controls, reporting processes and system reconciliations

Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA

• Strong management accounting experience

• Understanding of revenue recognition and WIP reporting

• Sage 200 or similar finance system experience

• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Lookups

• Confident communicator with a proactive, team-focused attitude
