We’re seeking an experienced Office Manager to take full ownership of office operations and drive structure, pace, and accountability. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for performance across service coordination, sales support, customer communication, and team management as the business enters its next growth phase.

This role is office-based, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all calls, emails, and enquiries are handled within 24 hours with no backlog
  • Own and optimise the service diary, resolving capacity issues and minimising last-minute problems
  • Control the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate data, timely follow-ups, and strong conversion
  • Lead daily office operations with clear prioritisation, delegation, and accountability
  • Manage, coach, and develop the office/admin team, including onboarding and recruitment support
  • Own office systems and processes (SimPRO), driving consistency and continuous improvement
  • Support NSI compliance, internal checks, and audit readiness
  • Identify operational risks, service improvements, and sales opportunities through regular reviews

  • Proven experience in an Office Manager or Operations role
  • Confident people manager with high standards
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Experience in a fast-paced, service-led SME
  • Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
  • Strong systems and process mindset
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport essential due to location

Salary

£40,000 per year
