Service Administrator & Sales Support

Location: Avonmouth
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Administrator & Sales Support professional to join a busy and fast-paced service office in Avonmouth. This is a key role supporting the Service Controller and wider team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to sales and marketing activities.

This position offers long-term stability with opportunities to develop as the department grows.

Key Responsibilities

Service Administration & Operations

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming service calls
  • Log and allocate service jobs to engineers
  • Manage and maintain the service planner board
  • Schedule and coordinate service work
  • Upload monthly servicing data
  • Process purchase orders and manage costs
  • Raise invoices and close completed jobs (Protean system)
  • Handle customer and supplier invoice queries
  • Maintain accurate system records and data entry

Parts & Stock Coordination

  • Order, track, and book in parts
  • Carry out supplier enquiries
  • Assist with stock control and month-end processes

Sales & Customer Support

  • Support telesales and marketing campaigns (calls & mailshots)
  • Produce and issue customer quotations
  • Follow up quotations for approval
  • Handle incoming rental and sales enquiries

General Administration

  • Generate reports as required
  • Filing, postal duties, and general admin support
  • Assist with team coordination and workload distribution
  • Support training of team members where required
  • Escalate issues to management when needed

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration or service support experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident with Microsoft Office systems (Protean advantageous)
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
