Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 12.30pm Fridays (37 hours per week)

Salary: £26000 - £28000 dependent on experience

Polytec is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Packing Operative to support day to day dispatch and warehouse activities for our client based in Huntingdon. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

• Booking materials into an ERP system and storing stock correctly

• Inspecting and securely packing finished goods

• Including correct paperwork and scanning items into finished goods

• Assisting with order picking, shipping labels and despatch preparation

• Kitting materials to production areas

• Operating forklift trucks (counterbalance/flexi)

• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining a safe, tidy warehouse

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience

• Forklift experience preferred

• Experience packing high value goods advantageous

• Knowledge of electronic components beneficial

• Experience with Syspro ERP useful

• Good attention to detail and reliability
