Reed Milton Keynes are looking for an ambitious recruiter to take over a busy Accountancy desk with a strong client base and plenty of opportunity to build on what’s already there.



This is a warm desk covering part-qualified and transactional finance roles (permanent) across Milton Keynes, Bedford, Buckingham and Leighton Buzzard. Although the market is MK-focused, you’ll be based out of our Northampton head office alongside a supportive and experienced team.



The desk has good foundations and existing relationships, giving someone proactive plenty of opportunity to build on it and drive it forward.



What you’ll be doing

  • Picking up and developing existing client relationships

  • Proactively winning new business – lots of calls, outreach and finding ways in (around 50 calls a day)

  • Meeting clients in the local area and building strong, long-term partnerships

  • Sourcing and managing candidates through the full recruitment process

  • Keeping on top of activity, KPIs and revenue targets



What we’re looking for

  • Ideally some recruitment experience and a track record of billing

  • Someone resilient who’s happy to pick up the phone and keep going

  • Motivated by earning and results

  • Comfortable working at pace and managing a mix of clients

  • Able to build relationships but still keep activity levels high

  • Driving licence would be helpful for client meetings
