Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Street, Somerset, to recruit two Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their dedicated team.

These are full-year roles (not term time only), offering the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that prioritises high-quality early years education and care.

The Roles

1 Part-Time Role (Fixed Term - 1 Year)

• Hours: Tuesday & Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00
• Ideal for candidates seeking a consistent part-time schedule

2 Full-Time Role (Permanent)

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (37 hours per week)
• A fantastic opportunity for a long-term career within a supportive nursery setting

Pay

• £13.78 per hour (for both positions)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Observe, track, and report on children's development

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
• Pediatric First Aid Certificate (desireable)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A passion for supporting children's development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
