Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth technology business, part of a wider group, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the finance team.

Based in Manchester city centre, you will operate on a hybrid basis with 1 day per week in the office (you will be more office based during handover period).

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Management Accountant who is immediately or short-term available, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.

Salary / benefits:

• £60,000 salary
• Hybrid working model (1 day per week in the Manchester city centre office)

Job Duties:

• Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Ownership of the month-end close process, including journals and accruals
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Support group reporting requirements and wider finance projects
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight
• Assist with audit preparation and year-end processes where required
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

Who will I report into?

Finance leadership within the group structure (e.g. Financial Controller / Group Finance Team)

When will interviews be taking place?

Interviews will be arranged early May.

Ideal Experience:

• Qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role
• Previous exposure to a technology, SaaS, or high-growth environment desirable
• Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large data sets
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, organised and comfortable working in an interim capacity
