Legal Secretary – Commercial Property

TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a leading law firm on the outskirts of Cardiff, who are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their highly regarded Commercial Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity to support a senior Partner within a busy and well-established department, offering exposure to high-quality work and a collaborative, professional environment.

The Role

As a Legal Secretary, you will provide dedicated support to a Partner and the wider Commercial Property team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of files and client matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing full secretarial and administrative support to a Partner
• Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
• Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and organising appointments
• Preparing and formatting legal documentation
• Liaising with clients, agents, and third parties in a professional manner
• Opening and managing client files in line with compliance procedures
• Assisting with billing, file management, and general office administration

About You

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within property (commercial or residential)
• Strong typing and document formatting skills
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with strong client care skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
