RG Consultancy are currently recruiting an experienced Management Accountant for a well-established manufacturing company based in Failsworth. Working closely with the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring that financial and management accounting complies with the latest standards

This role would be perfect for a part/qualified CIMA candidate looking to further their career within a growing SME business.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Ownership of month-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Management of VAT returns
• Support during the annual audit process
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Detailed stock analysis and reporting
• Oversight of day-to-day finance operations, including occasional payroll cover
• Project margin analysis to support profitability tracking
• Cash book reconciliations
• Support the financial completion of projects
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Proven experience in a management accountant or similar role
• Experience working within an SME environment
• Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and accounting systems
• Industrial sector experience is advantageous but not essential

• Flexible working hours (Monday to Friday) 36hrs per week
