We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Norfolk based business seeking an Accounts Controller to join their team at short notice. This is an immediate requirement to support a detailed handover, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy finance function and would suit someone with strong transactional finance experience who is confident, resilient, and able to quickly take ownership of core processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Cash book management and bank reconciliations

Supporting and processing payroll

Overseeing day-to-day transactional finance activity

Maintaining accurate financial records and controls

About you:

Proven experience in a finance or accounts role

Strong working knowledge of Sage

Confident across AP, AR, and bank reconciliations

Payroll experience highly desirable

Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment

Available to start at short notice and pick up processes quickly through handover

Have own transport due to location
