TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team in Swansea.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised legal support professional who thrives in a fast-paced conveyancing environment and is looking to join a supportive and progressive firm with a strong reputation across South Wales.

The Role

Working closely with experienced fee earners and solicitors, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a busy residential conveyancing department. The position will involve managing transactions from instruction through to post-completion while delivering a high standard of client care throughout.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting fee earners with a busy caseload of residential conveyancing matters
• Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
• Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
• Managing files from inception to completion
• Maintaining accurate case management records
• Assisting with exchange and completion processes
• Providing mentoring/support to junior support staff where required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Legal Assistant within a residential property team
• Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Experience using case management systems
• A proactive and team-oriented approach

Senior-level experience within a conveyancing support role is highly desirable.
