Your Role: What You'll Do As our HR Advisor - Nordics, you'll take ownership of end-to-end HR operations for employees across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. From onboarding new hires to advising managers on best practices and ensuring compliance with local employment laws, no two days will be the same. Here's what you can expect:
- Be the Go-To Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR processes in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway-ensuring full compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Support Managers & Employees: Provide clear guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a consistent and supportive workplace environment.
- Policy Governance: Keep HR policies up-to-date by monitoring legislative changes and recommending updates to ensure compliance.
- Seamless Employee Journeys: Lead onboarding and offboarding processes-from contract signing to benefits enrolment-ensuring every transition is smooth and efficient.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Collaborate closely with Payroll and Benefits teams to manage accurate payroll processing and resolve complex queries.
- HRIS Management: Maintain data integrity within our HRIS (HiBob), conduct regular audits, optimise workflows, and implement scalable improvements.
- Employee Relations: Handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism while coaching managers through performance management or disciplinary actions.
- Global Collaboration: Partner with international stakeholders across Payroll, Legal, IT, and Finance teams to align local needs with global initiatives.
What You Bring: Skills & Experience To excel in this role, you'll need a combination of technical expertise, regional knowledge, and interpersonal skills:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in HR roles within Nordic countries such as Sweden, Denmark, or Norway.
- Strong understanding of Nordic employment laws with the ability to translate regulations into practical workplace policies.
- Hands-on experience managing payroll processes and benefits administration across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in using HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob or similar) for data management, reporting, and process optimisation.
- Exceptional communication skills-able to coach managers sensitively while building trust at all levels of the organisation.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement; you're always looking for ways to enhance processes or policies.
- Experience working within global teams or EMEA markets is highly desirable; familiarity with other geographies like the Netherlands is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). CIPD/SHRM certification is advantageous.
