About the Company:

Our client is a respected financial services firm offering investment management and financial planning solutions to private clients. They pride themselves on delivering tailored investment strategies and maintaining a strong, research-driven approach to portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research across equities, funds, and other asset classes
  • Assist in portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring
  • Analyse market trends, economic data, and investment performance
  • Prepare investment reports, commentary, and client presentations
  • Support the investment committee with research and analysis
  • Maintain accurate investment records and databases
  • Carry out due diligence on third-party fund managers
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an Investment Analyst or similar role
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Good understanding of financial markets and investment products
  • Experience in portfolio monitoring and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

Desirable Skills:

  • Working towards or holding CFA, CISI, or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience within wealth management or discretionary investment management
  • Familiarity with tools such as FE Analytics, Morningstar, or Bloomberg
  • Advanced Excel skills
