Recruitment & Retention Manager (12 months)


Location:

• Uxbridge – hybrid working (3 days per week in office preferred)

• UK-wide remote options considered


Salary: £70–£80K (dependent on experience)

Contract length: 12 months


Supporting a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation in hiring an experienced Recruitment and Retention Manager to drive patient engagement across clinical studies.


This role plays a key part in delivering recruitment and retention strategies, working cross-functionally to ensure studies meet enrolment targets while remaining fully compliant.


Key Responsibilities:

•        Lead and deliver patient recruitment & retention strategies across clinical trials

•        Partner with study teams, CROs, and external vendors to execute recruitment plans

•        Use data and performance metrics to optimise enrolment and adapt strategies

•        Oversee vendor performance, KPIs, and compliance as key point of contact

•        Support development of patient-facing materials and recruitment campaigns

•        Track study progress, timelines, and recruitment deliverables

•        Contribute to process improvements and development of supporting documentation


Requirements:

•        Strong experience in clinical trial recruitment & retention

•        Proven vendor and stakeholder management experience

•        Data-driven mindset with ability to adjust strategies based on insights

•        Knowledge of ICH/GCP and clinical trial processes

•        Experience with CTMS, TMF, and digital tools

•        Bachelor’s degree + 7+ years’ relevant experience (or equivalent)
