Our client, a leading organization within a highly regulated manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Reliability Manager to lead and develop their engineering function across production and processing operations.
This is a key leadership role, offering full responsibility for asset reliability, maintenance performance, and engineering capability across a complex, high-speed manufacturing environment.
You will play a central role in driving operational excellence through structured maintenance strategies, continuous improvement initiatives, and strong team leadership, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities


  • Lead, coach, and manage a multi-skilled maintenance team operating in an environment, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture

  • Develop team capability through structured training, coaching, and performance management to maximize flexibility and efficiency

  • Own and implement preventive and autonomous maintenance strategies aligned with operational requirements to maximize uptime and minimize downtime

  • Drive performance through key metrics

  • Oversee maintenance planning and execution ensuring strong governance and asset tracking

  • Ensure all production, utility, and facility assets meet required safety, quality, and regulatory standards

  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to eliminate recurring issues

  • Embed continuous improvement methodologies to enhance reliability and operational performance

  • Champion health, safety, quality, and compliance, supporting audits and investigations where required

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, projects, and external partners to drive reliability improvements


Candidate Requirements


  • Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance & Reliability leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of TPM, Lean, continuous improvement, and reliability engineering principles

  • Demonstrated experience leading, motivating, and developing teams

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including root cause analysis

  • Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, high-demand production environment
