Location: Uxbridge College

Start Date: September

Pay Rate: £16.64 per hour

Uxbridge College is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join its inclusive student support team from September.

This role plays a vital part in helping learners with additional needs to achieve their full potential within further education. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and support services to provide tailored, learner-centred assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-class and one-to-one support to students with additional learning needs, including SEND
  • Support students to access the curriculum, develop independence, and build confidence
  • Assist learners with educational, personal, and social development
  • Work collaboratively with lecturers, support staff, and external professionals
  • Contribute to the monitoring of student progress and support plans
  • Uphold safeguarding, equality, and inclusion at all times
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience supporting learners in an educational or support setting
  • A patient, reliable, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices
  • An understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
