Parker Young Recruitment Ltd
Are you a social media strategist who's built something genuinely brilliant for a brand you believe in — and ready to do it again, bigger and better? If your passion for pets is matched only by your ability to turn a scroll-stopper into a loyal community, this one's for you.
Parker Young is proud to be supporting a well-established, much-loved specialist FMCG business and producers of market leading branded and own label product ranges, with a and fiercely loyal customer base. Think engaged audiences, passionate brand advocates, and content that genuinely means something to the people it reaches.
This is a rare opportunity to walk into a role with full ownership of the social media function — and real appetite from the business to invest in it. You won't be maintaining the status quo. You'll be defining what great looks like.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll take end-to-end ownership of all social media channels — shaping strategy, leading campaigns, creating content, and building meaningful connections with an audience that already cares deeply about the brand. This isn't a role about posting and scheduling. It's about leading a channel with untapped potential and making it count.

Who We're Looking For
You're already working in social media — probably for a consumer brand with real substance behind it. You know your way around both strategy and execution, you're energised by data as much as creativity, and you've got the confidence to own a channel and champion it internally.
You'll bring:
Why This Role?
Because it's the kind of role that doesn't come along very often. True ownership. Genuine support from leadership. A brand with a devoted following and a story worth telling. Based in Yorkshire with a competitive salary of up to £50,000, plus a discretionary bonus scheme and benefits including a Medicash Cash Plan and Group Pension.
If you've been waiting for the role where you can really make your mark — and you love what pets mean to people — we'd love to hear from you.
