The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll take end-to-end ownership of all social media channels — shaping strategy, leading campaigns, creating content, and building meaningful connections with an audience that already cares deeply about the brand. This isn't a role about posting and scheduling. It's about leading a channel with untapped potential and making it count.


What you'll own:

  • A clear, insight-led social media strategy aligned to brand and business objectives — yours to define and deliver
  • Campaign leadership across awareness, consideration and engagement — from concept through to execution
  • The content calendar, day-to-day channel management, and community engagement across all platforms
  • Integration with paid social agency activity to maximise the impact of organic and paid together
  • Performance tracking, KPI-setting, and a culture of test-and-learn that drives continuous improvement
  • Your seat at the table as the business's internal social media expert — influencing stakeholders and shaping the agenda


Who We're Looking For

You're already working in social media — probably for a consumer brand with real substance behind it. You know your way around both strategy and execution, you're energised by data as much as creativity, and you've got the confidence to own a channel and champion it internally.


You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior or lead social media role — with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities
  • A track record of owning channels and delivering measurable results for a consumer brand
  • Deep knowledge of content strategy, platform best practices, and campaign planning
  • Confidence with data — using insight to guide decisions and demonstrate impact
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A creative, curious mindset — always testing, learning, and pushing for better
  • A genuine passion for the world of FMCG
