Payroll Administrator (Immediate Start)

My client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator who is available to start immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong end to end payroll knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing starters and leavers, including all associated documentation
  • Processing changes such as salary adjustments, bonuses and deductions
  • Calculating overtime, shift allowances and other variable pay
  • Handling pension administration including auto enrolment and responding to employee queries
  • Processing statutory payments such as SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Managing P45s, P60s and P11Ds in line with HMRC requirements
  • Ensuring payroll compliance with current UK legislation and regulations
  • Reconciling payroll reports and resolving discrepancies
  • Liaising with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll data
  • Responding to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a payroll administration role within the UK
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and NI
  • Experience using payroll system iTrent and Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle confidential information

This role requires someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage payroll processes from day one.
