Accounts Payable Clerk Up to £35,000 per annum Monday – Friday, Office Based Southam, Warwickshire

If so, this could be a brilliant next step. We’re supporting a Southam-based business seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their friendly, collaborative finance department. This is a permanent, office-based role offering stability, development, and a great benefits package.
So what would you be doing? - Processing high-volume purchase invoices with accuracy and efficiency - Matching, batching, and coding invoices - Managing supplier accounts and resolving queries promptly - Preparing and assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs - Completing supplier statement reconciliations - Supporting month-end processes and reporting - Maintaining organised financial records and documentation - Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication

But what experience do you need? - Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role (At least 5 years) - Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail - Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues - Ability to work proactively and manage your own workload - Comfortable using finance systems and Excel - A positive, reliable, and team-oriented approach
