The Firm: A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice, offering expert advice to a diverse client base. With multiple offices across the region, the firm is expanding its senior leadership team and looking for a key individual to help drive success within operational, workflow, billing and compliance.


The Role:


Stepping into this role, you'll play a key role that will encompass all operational aspects of the business, in particular workflow and billings. You will monitor the workflow of accounting jobs with the team, ensuring that jobs are completed to statutory deadlines and the billing targets are met. Providing outstanding, prompt and friendly client service will be of strong importance to you.

  • You will ensure the seamless process from initial enquiry to completion of the jobs process is delivered
  • Setting weekly priorities, holistically overseeing the workload of the team, and supporting them to ensure business processes are adhered to, tracked efficiently and in line with Practice and regulatory standards
  • Conduct regular file reviews and quality checks
  • You will coordinate communication with clients and third-party providers and deliver regular updates to the accounting and management team
  • Track leads, referrals, and pipeline activity
  • Monitor and tracking business development from an administrative stance, building trusted referral partner networks
  • Shaping the future of the firm, working closely with Directors and Partners
  • Overseeing compliance, ensuring top-tier client service

Who We’re Looking For:


  • Strong use of workflow systems, use of automation or AI tools and systems
  • Intermediate Level of Excel
  • Experience working at assistant manager, manager or senior manager level
  • A proactive, forward-thinking leader with excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills across Office 365. Use of Accountancy software would be an advantage, though not essential - Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS
  • Proven experience in supporting and influencing the team
