An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a leading Funds Formation and Sponsor Solutions practice within a top-tier law firm. The role offers hands-on involvement in complex private capital transactions alongside extensive training and development support.

Description

The successful candidate will join the firm's Funds Formation and Sponsor Solutions group, providing support on a broad range of private fund and sponsor-related matters. The role will involve assisting with the coordination of transactions including closed-ended fundraisings and secondary transactions.

Responsibilities will include supporting AML/KYC processes and subscription agreements, preparing regulatory applications and notification forms, processing amendments to key fund documents, and liaising directly with clients and regulators by telephone and email. The paralegal will also participate in the same departmental training programme provided to trainee solicitors.

The scope of work may evolve in line with the needs of the practice, offering exposure to a wide variety of high-quality matters across the fund lifecycle.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and will have completed, or be working towards, the LPC or SQE. You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and committed to delivering accurate and timely legal support in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. A proactive mindset and a willingness to take ownership of work product are key.

Job Offer

The role offers a competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000, together with a comprehensive benefits package. The firm provides extensive training, mentoring and development opportunities, with clear routes to qualification through either a formal training programme or the SQE and QWE pathway, within a highly supportive and collaborative environment.
