Financial Controller
Skipton area- Office Based
£55,000 basic plus excellent bonus

Robert Half Accountancy & Finance is recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a well-established, highly respected construction-led business based in the Skipton area.

This is a hands-on role leading a small finance team, offering broad responsibility across financial control, reporting, and commercial support within a growing SME environment. To be considered for this role you must have gained finance experience within the construction industry and will be looking for future career development.

The Role:

• Lead and develop a small finance team
• Take ownership of day-to-day finance operations
• Produce monthly management accounts and reporting
• Ensure compliance with CIS and construction payment processes
• Support payroll across PAYE and subcontractors
• Improve financial processes and controls
• Provide commercial insight across projects and contracts

About You

• Construction industry experience is essential
• Strong understanding of CIS and construction contract environments
• Confident managing end-to-end finance processes in a hands-on role
• Payroll knowledge beneficial
